FHA Assists Hospitals Track the Impact of Operation Haiti Relief
Feb 05, 2010By: John Wilgis
The Florida Hospital Association is asking hospitals to provide information regarding patients from Operation Haiti Relief to allow us to track the nature and costs of these cases in the event that federal funding becomes available.
FHA is seeking to capture much of the needed information about the patients hospitals have seen. To facilitate this process, a reporting spreadsheet is available at http://www.fha.org/HospitalReporting.xls. Please complete the spreadsheet (one row for each patient, please) as of January 31, 2010. Include in this report those patients that have been discharged as well as those that are still receiving care in your hospital. Then, update the spreadsheet weekly and return to Kathy Reep (kathyr@fha.org) every Friday - that will allow FHA to have the most current information possible as requests are received related to the number, costs, and disposition of these patients.
If there are questions on the spreadsheet or the information requested, please do not hesitate to call Kathy at 407-841-6230 or contact her via e-mail at kathyr@fha.org.
Thanks again for all the care you have provided to these patients and for helping us to track the needed information.
