The Florida Hospital Association, through its Management Corporation (FHAMC), in collaboration with 3M Health Information Systems, will be presenting an informational webinar on All Patient Refined Diagnosis Related Groups (APR-DRGs), on June 5, 2013. This two-hour program is designed to introduce hospitals to the APR-DRG coding methodology that the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) plans to implement for Medicaid claim payment beginning July 1, 2013.
The speaker for this program is Norbert Goldfield M.D., medical director at 3M Health Information Systems. Dr. Goldfield has an extensive background involving APR-DRGs and is part of the team responsible for updating the grouper logic in association with the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI). This informational session will end with a Q&A session for hospitals to learn more about the APR-DRG coding methodology. FHA members are encouraged to register today for this free program.
