Birthing Hospitals Recognized for Reducing EEDs

Florida birthing hospitals recently submitted applications for "39 Weeks Recognition Banners" in honor of their work and commitment to improve quality and safety by reducing early elective deliveries (EED).
The EED recognition program is sponsored by Florida American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists District XII in partnership with FHA-HRET Hospital Engagement Network (HEN), the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative, Florida Department of Health and the March of Dimes Florida Chapter. 

FHA is pleased to congratulate the following FHA-HRET HEN hospitals who have earned 39 Weeks Recognition Banners:

  • Citrus Memorial Health System
  • DeSoto Memorial Hospital
  • Jackson Hospital
  • Jupiter Medical Center
  • Morton Plant Hospital
  • North Okaloosa Medical Center
  • Winter Haven Hospital
