FHA Congratulates 18 Hospitals Meeting PfP Goals

FHA is proud of the hard work underway across the state to meet the Partnership for Patient's (PfP) goals to reduce patient harm by 40 percent and readmissions by 20 percent. The PfP is focused on eliminating harm and reducing readmissions. We recognize the significant effort occurring within all 77 FHA-HRET HEN hospitals to provide safer care. While all hospitals are improving in many areas, the following hospitals have achieved the PfP goals in almost all areas:

Achieving PfP Goals in All Areas

Baptist Medical Center Nassau
Health First Cape Canaveral Hospital
Health First's Palm Bay Hospital
Health First Viera Hospital

Achieved PfP Goals in all but One Area

Bascom Palmer Eye Institute/Anne Bates Leach Eye Hospital
Hendry Regional Medical Center
Hialeah Hospital
Jackson South Community Hospital
Northwest Florida Community Hospital
Regional General Hospital Williston
South Seminole Hospital

Achieved PfP Goals in All but Two Areas

Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children
DeSoto Memorial Hospital
Dr. P. Phillips Hospital

The FHA HEN looks forward to recognizing more hospitals for improving patient safety at the upcoming FHA-HRET HEN Quality Summit in November.
