Latest HMO Monitor Report Released

The 2012 Third Quarter HMO Monitor contains the latest financial data on the HMOs (through September 30, 2012). Florida HMOs posted a net income of $751.6 million, up 25.5 percent from the same period in 2011. Humana continues to report the largest income ($479.2 million), followed by United (including Neighborhood) with $68.3 million and Aetna with $43.3 million. Plans posting losses include Cigna, Florida Healthcare Plus, Medica, Preferred Care Partners and Sunshine State Plan. Download a copy of the report.
