Joint Commission Update: Empowering Survey Data to Drive Risk Mitigation Strategies

Overview
Program attendees will hear from The Joint Commission about the latest information concerning the accreditation process, including state and national trends in risks identified through hospital surveys, examples of standards compliance challenges relative to hospitals' response to the pandemic, process changes in 2021, and resources to mitigate risk impacting safety and quality of healthcare delivery.

Continuing Education
FHA is a provider of nursing education approved by the Florida State Board of Nursing under Provider No. NCE2972. Nurses are eligible to receive 1.5 hours of continuing nursing education.
FHA is authorized to award 1.5 hours of pre-approved American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Qualified Education credit for this program toward advancement or recertification in ACHE. Participants in this program wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward ACHE Qualified Education credit should indicate their participation when submitting an application to ACHE for advancement or recertification.
