Medical Futility Project

The Ethics Committee of the Health Council of South Florida undertook a study and examined issues involving medical futility. A series of public forums was held in 1997 to discuss ethical issues. As a result of the study, guidelines were developed by consensus and this report can be accessed at www.med.miami.edu/HCSF.
