FAHR Goals and Objectives
- Provide opportunities for, and the arena in which, health care recruiters may network, identify, and collaborate on key issues, problems and ventures (i.e., annual meeting, educational seminars, resources, etc.).
- Provide seminars on topics of interest to, and intended to assist, health care recruiters with their responsibilities.
- Actively recruit new members through Membership Drive. Increase membership of FAHR to include at least 90 health care recruiters.
- Support Florida Hospital Association members in efforts to recruit health care professionals to Florida.
- Promote "National Health Care Recruiters Recognition Day" - 1st Tuesday in June.
Criteria for Membership
Eligibility - Type A
Individuals eligible for Type A membership in the Society shall be Type A personal members of
the Florida Hospital Association with positions in recruitment and/or such related positions as
human resource or personnel department employees.
Type A personal members of the Florida Hospital Association are employees of member-institutions, parent corporations of such members, educational institutions, government (except employees of non-member government hospitals), and hospital associations.
Eligibility - Type C Non-Affiliate Membership
Individuals eligible for Type C Non-Affiliate membership in the Society shall be Type C personal
members of the Florida Hospital Association.
Type C personal members of the Florida Hospital Association are individuals who are employees of institutions not holding membership in the Florida Hospital Association. Type C members may vote, but are not eligible to hold office in the Society.
