Five Years of Quality:
Working Together to Improve Care

For the past five years, Florida's hospitals have been working together across the state to significantly improve care for our patients, increase the value of care in our state and set a national model for improving care.

Through statewide initiatives led by the Florida Hospital Association, hospitals are working to address readmissions, surgical complications, infections such as central line blood stream infections and catheter associated urinary tract infections, and other complications.  Today, we've seen real results. Complications and readmissions have dropped, lives have been saved, and millions of dollars in costs are avoided each year.
