FHA Annual Meeting

The Florida Hospital Association (FHA) is pleased to announce its 2009 Annual Meeting program September 30 - October 2. This year’s educational event was planned by FHA’s Annual Meeting Planning Committee and includes a robust program for healthcare leaders and several new offerings.
All hospital CEOs and their leadership teams are encouraged to attend the meeting. This year’s Annual Meeting theme, "The Driving Forces Shaping the Future of Healthcare," captures the depth of this year's program.
The opening keynote speaker for the 82nd Annual Meeting will be George Stephanopoulos, chief Washington correspondent for ABC News and anchor of ABC’s Sunday morning program, This Week with George Stephanopoulos.
Other featured speakers include: Lowell Catlett, an exciting futurist whose knowledge of technologies and their implications on the way we will live and work is addressed in his varied and upbeat presentation; Princeton Professor Uwe Reinhardt, one of the nation’s leading authorities on healthcare economics and a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences; Nancy-Ann DeParle, Counselor to the President and Director of the White House Office of Health Reform; and David Rittof, Executive Vice President of Modern Management and a leading authority in unionization trends and labor relations.
