2023 Managed Care Conference

FHA's Annual Managed Care Conference returned to Lake Mary on November 1st and 2nd engaging more than 140 managed care professionals from across the state! Attendees came together to hear the top trends and strategies in managed care and to reconnect with colleagues.

The conference kicked off with an inside look at the Florida Health Care State of Affairs with Mary C. Mayhew, FHA President and CEO, followed by a tremendous lineup of speakers and presentations including:

  • Analysis of the State of the Industry by Ford Koles, Vice President and National Spokesperson, Advisory Board
  • ACHA Update on Medicaid Managed Care with Jason Weida, Secretary, Agency for Health Care Administration
  • FHA State and Federal Advocacy Update from David Mica, J.D., Executive Vice President, Public Affairs, and Michael Williams, J.D., Senior Vice President, Federal Affairs and General Counsel, FHA

Attendees also participated in an FHA Networking event at TopGolf Lake Mary. Through the generous support of executive sponsor Zumpano Patricios, attendees enjoyed an evening of food, fun, and friendly competition while networking with colleagues.

The conference concluded with an open forum led by Kim Streit, Senior Vice President, FHA, and multiple polls to gauge the attendee’s most important concerns and a group discussion of what’s needed going forward.
